Does it matter if there’s Macs or not? They still all pretty much run Windows.

I don’t get the thing with the Paint program and the caption “But Microsoft loves designers!”

Can someone explain.

Shane Morris, our UX guru was using a MacBook Pro

I was using a Toshiba M400, 3Gb RAM 1.85Mhz Core Duo 2. Sans internet connection.

I believe Nick Hodge was running a Mac w/Vista in Parallels or VMWare coherence mode. The external presenters (AIMIA, web startups, lemonade and reactive) were stunningly boring and uninspiring – they got people with no perspective, vision, unique insights or motivation. MS should either keep it to internal people or find *much* better quality presenters. Also, a minor point, but if you’re going to include a survey in the swag, you should always include a (preferably cool) pen in swag. This is the kind of feedback you’re never going to get from feedback forms.

‘Don’t be a tool’ had nothing to do with being on a Mac, it was to do with interviewing techniques when applying for a job. As Long said, it wasn’t the only Mac at the event… however for reference, Reactive were running OSX and Keynote.

Shane Morris, I think, also had a Mac, running Vista + powerpoint (+expression studio)

That is a Mac. Whether or not it’s using OSX and keynote, OSX and PowerPoint or Windows and PowerPoint – no idea.
*fingers crossed that it’s the third* – It is ironic though.
