Hi Long, there is a greesemonkey script http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/11790 that lets you kill all the applications you don’t care about, so stops them showing on profiles, feeds, and requests/notifications, it is a godsend.

I’ve added a few carefully selected ones (Google Reader Shared Items, Pandora), but I never accept an application invitation. Some profiles are looking ridiculous now. It puts you off your own friends!
