Scroll up about 18 posts to the latest one from Tim Cowley. He gives a fix that should help make them work in media center.

As far as the album art goes, if I remember correctly we just look into the directory where the music is for a file names Folder.jpg. I’m not sure what magic makes these show up though. They don’t seem to exist when I just look in the folders but when I view the folders with my thumbnail graphics veiwer they’re all there. Do you see the album art if you use the old 2d ‘album art’ visualization?

The 965 chipset should be just fine for running these visualizations. The very first thing I would suggest trying is to go to the Intel web site and update your drivers.

Also, from a command prompt try running dxdiag. This is the DirectX Diagnostice Tool. Click on the “Display 1″ tab and ensure that hardware acceleration is enabled.

Uhhhh. Yeah so anyone resolved the fact they do not work in media center????

Also i cannot switch the alblum art in the 3d alblum art visualization . regardless of what i play in WMP i get the same alblum art” johnny cash walk the line”

A have the same problem with the bubbles visualiziation. the bubble with the alblum art in it is always johnny cash. ???

Anyone have a work around this. I even deleted the johnny cash alblum all together and it still is the only alblum art that will display. kinda sucks

When I downloaded these I couldn`t seem to get them to work in WMP. I have Windows Vista and WMP11. Is Mobile Intel(r) 965 Chipset Family (that`s what it says when i try to check what graphics card I have but I`m not sure) good enough to run these visualisations?

Hello there. These visualizations are great; the album art ones are particularly good. I run XP MCE and I’m having the same problem as others i.e. all the visualizations in MC have vanished (not that any of them are particularly missed). Other posters have mentioned that if you uninstall this pack the MC visualizations are re-instated. At the risk of sounding extraordinarily dim: how do you uninstall this pack? It doesn’t appear in Add/Remove Programs or any uninstaller software?

Just came to update. Thanks. They are all wonderful visualizations. Only thing, the best one, Album Art 3D won’t work with Vista Ultimate MC. Working fine in MediaPlayer though. Removed the registry key as noted in previous post and all others are now working witn Media Center.

Hi! Great visualizations. All of them working just fine in Media Player but having trouble with Vista Media Center. installing these, no visualizations. None working, even the plain old ones like Alchemy or Bars are not working. Nothing on the screen except my wallpaper and a black rectangle where usually is album art and title info. Using HP m9080n Penthium core 2 Quad CPU with nVidia 8800GTS all current drivers installed from nVidia. Uninstall Psychedelia pack and all is back normal working.
