True, true. Chris is a bit of a maven when it comes to studying the innovative ways to spark communication between a brand and the marketplace. Heck, we brought to the table the bags used in the Vanishing Point, and he knew exactly what to do with them. Rock on, "Hot Rod" Aarons...

I echo Brian's remarks. I worked with Chris over the past year and have nothing but great things to say about him. Word-of-mouth marketing? It will never catch on ;-)

Having worked with Chris for several years and partnering with him while I was at MSFT on Vanishing Point, the x64 launch and more I can honestly say that AMD is losing a great person. Keep your eyes on his company... they'll do great things.

Thank you for the kind words. And, while there was some controversy around the Vanishing Point seeding, you ended up showing everyone the power of blogging and social media.

So despite what you may think, this thing had a lot of positives for a number of reasons:

1. The community created an ad hoc code of conduct for such things
2. The controversy drove viewers to the products
3. It showed everyone including many larger companies the power blogger have
4. And, it proved you guys can and do drive the mainstream media and they do follow you

So, thank you and please, please don't ever do anything like this again!!!!
