It’s nice to see this post on an obviously unrelated web site.

The sad thing is that these things do happen all the time, this one just happen to make the news. It could have been a lot worse if that off duty officer wasn’t there to pin him down until others could arrive.

It’s amazing that so many view law enforcement as bad and evil, and mean and harsh in dealing with people. Ever imagine why they are? Maybe what they prepare for?

I saw that exact show Brendon, and agree whole-heartedly. If a bullet costs $5,000 each then that person will make for damn sure it goes where he wants it to go. I loved that idea..

“Gun control? We need bullet control! I think every bullet should cost 5,000 dollars. Because if a bullet cost five thousand dollar, we wouldn’t have any innocent bystander .”

I live just a few miles from that mall. It is a quiet, upscale downtown mall tucked away behind a big commercial and radio district just south of downtown Salt Lake… I have been wondering why this teenager targeted that mall. Only people with money shop there. Maybe he was broke and angry?

I’m surprised this doesn’t happen MORE often. The world is awfully large place, with more people every second, and some proportion of those are &^#$* in the head. As population grows, so grows the number of people inclined to do this sort of thing.

Sad? DEFINITELY.

That photo is awesome (meaning it left me in awe). Imagine the fear the police officer must be feeling, knowing that the person next to him is dead and that he himself could also end up that way very shortly.

I am glad we don’t see much of that in Victoria…
