The branding is typical Microsoft which isn't bad but I would of liked to see something really outstanding for these design programs, something that really catches a designers eye. As for the black UI, I like it. It would be nice to have the UI black because I know that for color it's important to have a black background to see true color so what you see on screen will be exactly what you see when printed (calibration also helps).
