Just bought one and so far not that impressed, plugged it in as directions say and the setup location comes up but cannot select location or move on from that point. It says to hit next but that is not an option, seems to default to United States but cannot move from that point. Very disappointing.

I just picked up the 10" from woot.com for around $129.99 + $5 shipping and it included the momento live service for free. On their site it was listed for $279.99...huge savings.

For your info there's an australian company selling a Bluetooth digital frame for AU$169.
Admittedly, the size is quite small at 5.6 inches... but still a good price.

The Momento product looks to be pretty cool. It is supposed to ship now but haven't seen an update. Can't wait to get our hands on it. We have both the photovu product and the estarling product which are 802.11 enabled but both had their issues in getting them set up. Once they are online however, it is pretty cool. You pop a photo into your Flickr account and boom its on the wall. We reviewed both at http://www.wirelesspictureframe.com and will add a Momemento review this month

[...] Everyone’s impression of Windows SideShow is most likely a reminiscence of the Channel9 video which featured a demo on the faux standard SideShow demo device, the ASUS W5Fe prototype. Or perhaps the glassy digital picture frame. Ever since, everyone’s imagination has probably been confined only to a bulky looking PDA glued to the back of a laptop or executive-priced picture frames. But that’s where you’re wrong.(continue at source) [...]

I am very interested in getting one of these for my parents so I can show them pictures of they new grandson, who lives half way around the world.

However not at the price I would have to pay (Approx US$580)

I think it is criminal the way companies charge nearly double the price for the same product in Eurpoe than in the US.

Momento 100 = US$299 from amazon in the US (Only ship to US)
Momento 100 = US$580 from the only source in the UK (PC World)

Not only that, it will probably not be available until after Christmas, just like the PS3

You guys in the US should count yourselves lucky.
