No grudge against Mac or Linux. Windows isn’t perfect, Ubuntu isn’t perfect, Mac OS X isn’t perfect. Tried them all. They’re all have pros and cons.

Through that wound, every kind of immigrant imaginable — Mexicans, Mexicans and other Mexicans — are pouring into the United States.

You mean the one thing, only thing, life-saving thing, you can do, is migrate your entire system to another operating system? Whats going to happen to your workflow, documents, settings, applications, communications and customizations? All that because some hacker out there might draw some pretty vectors to inject you with some popup advertisements? What about applying one of the four workarounds? One is even as simple as running a “regsrv” command.

But seriously, what is your point? The fact of the matter is that Microsoft, security-wise, is inferior to Mac and Linux. That’s a fact. You can delude yourself as much. You can snort as many lines of coke from Ballmer’s ass as you see fit, but the fact of the matter remains that more exploits exist for Microsoft operating systems. I know because I’ve been on the receiving end of them…and let me tell you I was NOT browsing any suspicious sites.

“Floodwaters of filth…” has such a negative vibe to it. “Sprinkles of god’s life-giving liquid fill the shallow dips hollowed by the gentle workmen in Redmond” would have sounded a whole lot better. Besides that, out of my entire computing lifetime, I have not witnessed one malware that has been installed using exploits. Sure, a lot of people have malware on their Windows computers, but most if not all of them are caused by user stupidity, clicking on cheap mortgage offers and free college degrees.

So that makes it better, huh? Everyone’s supposed to be an expert with their PCs now? Let me tell you a little story. A couple of years ago, I needed to install a certain operating system. Let’s call it “windows”. My boss needed this machine very quickly, because he had a meeting to go to. So, accordingly I began to install this “windows”. All went well. Until I connected to the internet. Ten minutes after being connected, I noticed the internet connection was very slow. Almost to a crawl. Then I realised…I’d caught a worm. Shit, I thought…

Long, what is this post supposed to achieve? All you’ve managed to do is post a few sarcastic responses to an article you didn’t happen to agree with. Big fucking deal. You’ve made no counter arguments whatsoever. We know you’re a Windows user, we know you like Microsoft a little more than is perhaps healthy, but shit, do you have to be so god damn anal about it? I know we Linux users can be a little up our own asses at times, but is this really your way of proving you’re so much more enlightened than us? Stooping to our level of childish responses with awkwardly contrived responses to cover up one’s own inadequacies? And sure enough, the MS posse come chiming in with responses like “Linux zealots will never learn, but that makes making fun of them even sweeter”. Making fun? Yes, you make fun of me, dear boy.
