Microsoft: The Internet is a series of tubes

Looks like the designers at Microsoft agree with Senator Ted Stevens.
Have a look at the network icon for Windows Vista.

Looks like its a pretty small tube. I bet you can’t even stream 10 movies across that, before your eBay purchases start clogging up. Start gambling!

    I think that is funny. Nonetheless, I like the icon. Stevens meant it literally, and botched it, but in an abstract imaginative way, that icon looks good.

    Ha ha! Classic! Does Vista support pneumail? I sure hope so, because we all know what happens if those tubes are filled with enormous amounts of material…enormous amounts of material.
